She explicitly noticed and mentioned the unsanitary conditions in which the physicians treat them and the worst conditions of wounded soldiers.

There are training sessions specifically held to train people. Specific CPR guidelines are distributed amongst the participants attending the training session. Expert, certified CPR workers deliver lectures as well as provide hands on training so that the participants can learn and practice all the procedures on dummy dolls. If you are already certified in American Red Cross CPR training, the American Red Cross provides you refresher courses and advanced trainings also.
